Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university; Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments; Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area; Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation; General knowledge of curriculum and instruction; At least one year student teaching or approved internship.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Ability to read, write and understand the English language; demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for work to be performed; ability to grow professionally; desire and ability to work with students, staff and other bus drivers; current Commercial Driver’s License and bus driver certification or certifiable; negative mandatory OTETA test.
